Mitsubishi is surging in the charts last quarter and they are sustaining that momentum by joining the 2025 Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival. It’s a yearly event that allows the public to test drive their desired cars with ease as they can hop from one brand tent to another.
For their part, Mitsubishi is bringing the Xforce crossover, Xpander and Xpander Cross MPVs, Montero Sport SUV, and the all-new Triton pickup. There will be a separate Mitsubishi Triton on display and also in their booth is the L300 café.
The Mitsubishi Triton was recently hailed as the Best Pickup Truck Design in the Auto Focus Media’s Choice Awards. It’s updated Dynamic Shield design, wider track, and longer length give it a dominating presence on the road no matter what trim you buy. It’s available with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Active Yaw Control, 360-camera system, and Advanced Driver Assist System like Forward Collision Mitigation System, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Blindspot Warning System.
Meanwhile, the Mitsubishi Xpander continues to impress Filipinos 7 years into its life here in the country. It’s even among the best selling cars in the Philippines for 2024. The Xpander’s sharp look makes it stand out on the road. There’s also a comfortable cabin with enough cooling for all occupants, complemented by key tech amenities like Push Start Button, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Digital Climate Control, and 6-speaker system.
There’s also a more souped-up variation in the Xpander Cross that features a more menacing facade, functional roof rails, and 17-inch 2-tone alloy wheels. It also has a more premium cabin that has a leather upholstery, steering wheel from the bigger Montero Sport, and an 8-inch digital gauge cluster.
The Xforce is the latest new name in Mitsubishi’s lineup. It’s a subcompact crossover that ticks many boxes for those looking for their next or first car. The unique exterior is complemented by a tech-filled cabin that features amenities like Ambient Lighting, Electronic Parking Brake, Dual Zone Automatic Climate Control, Yamaha Sound System, and Advanced Driver Assist Features.
