Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) grows its already expansive five-model hybrid lineup with the unveiling of the new Staria Hybrid. With a starting price of Php 1,999,000 and class-leading fuel efficiency of 17.7 km/l, it brings together smart hybrid performance (from a 245ps/265Nm turbocharged 1.6L gasoline engine and an electric motor combo) with elevated comfort, advanced connectivity, and versatile space.
With its futuristic design, new 18-inch alloy wheels, a revamped grille, and distinctive cube projection LED headlamps, the premium people-mover delivers a sophisticated look while maintaining spaciousness and practicality.
Inside, all Staria variants feature a larger 12.3-inch infotainment display for a more intuitive interface for the vehicle’s entertainment, navigation, and hybrid functions. The cabin offers USB Type-C ports in the front and back rows and a wireless charging pad in front. Premium variants boast a 12-speaker Bose audio system and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster.
Like many luxury cars, the Staria uses a steering column-mounted Shift-by-Wire gearshift lever (for the 6-speed automatic) for a cleaner cockpit and optimized space. Power seats with lumbar support, along with heated and ventilated functions, elevate comfort for both driver and passengers. Passengers can also appreciate an enhanced cabin atmosphere with a dual power and tilt sunroof. Premium variants boast Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go function.
The 9-seater variant has also now been made available in a three-row seat configuration; while the 7-seater has added flexibility through extended seat rails, allowing owners to optimize cargo capacity when needed. The Premium Plus variant features luxurious Nappa leather upholstery.
Complementing this versatility are Hyundai-exclusive smart hybrid functions such as e-Handling which improves the Staria’s agility and stability while cornering, and e-Ride which enhances ride quality when crossing speed bumps or rapid acceleration, overall providing more control in different driving situations.
The Staria Hybrid is the first Hyundai to feature Bluelink, the brand’s advanced Connected Car Service platform that keeps drivers seamlessly connected to their vehicle. Through Hyundai Live Services, owners can access real-time traffic and weather updates directly via the infotainment system without the need to connect a smartphone.
Bluelink also supports voice recognition, allowing users to send and receive text messages while keeping their focus on the road. Beyond the drive, it keeps owners informed with vehicle status, diagnostics, and health reports, while enabling remote control of climate settings, door locks, horn, and lights for effortless access even before entering the vehicle.
The new Staria Hybrid is equipped with Hyundai SmartSense, an array of advanced safety technologies. These include new features such as Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist and Side Parking Distance Warning, helping drivers navigate with heightened awareness and delivering confidence when on the road. Supporting this is a set of six airbags strategically integrated throughout the cabin.

The new Hyundai Staria Hybrid is available in Creamy White, Abyss Black Pearl, and Shimmering Silver Metallic. Exclusive interior colors for the 7-seater and 9-seater premium variants come in Bordeaux Brown and Anthracite Brown, respectively.
