Along with the launch of the all-new Suzuki Fronx Hybrid is another updated offering in Suzuki’s lineup. Standing among the crowd of Fronx was the new XL7 in Black Edition. It shed its body color and chrome trimmings in key areas to become sleeker and more enticing.

The changes were done on the exterior of the car only. Starting in front, Suzuki’s logo is now more emphasized as the bar and the rest of the grille is now pure black. The front diffuser was also made darker to blend well with the theme.

More of the revisions can be seen on the side profile. The roof rails are now black, blending well with the 2-tone theme of select units. Side mirrors and door handles also shed their body color for black. The 16-inch wheels retained their same design but are now finished in painted black as well. Meanwhile, the taillights are now smoked and the tailgate garnish has been given the black treatment.

In the cabin, a small revision done was the new design of the instrument cluster. The analog gauges now has a brighter shade of blue with an outline. All else, like the Push Start Button, 10-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Automatic Climate Control are retained.
No changes were made to the powertrain. The XL7 Hybrid runs with the same 1.5-liter engine paired to a mild-hybrid system. It produces 105 PS and 138 Nm of torque mated to a 4-speed automatic.
The new Suzuki XL7 Hybrid is now available across all Suzuki dealerships nationwide. It’s priced at PHP 1,259,000 while the 2-tone version is an additional PHP 10,000.
