ACMobility expands PH EV Spine Network with EV charging station in Pagudpud

With range anxiety a common concern among prospective and current electric vehicle (EV) owners, those living in and around the Northern Capital Region (NCR) will be glad to know that ACMobility has recently opened its newest charging station all the way north in Ilocos Norte.

The DC station is fitted with two charge points and is designed to service both locals and travelers. It will be open everyday from 6:00AM to 8:00PM. It is a partnership with power distribution utility (DU) company Ilocos Norte Electric Cooperative Inc. (INEC), and is powered by Masinloc Power Partners Co. Ltd. (MPPCL) and GNPower Dinginin Ltd. Co. (GNPD), ensuring stable energy supply for travelers. The partnership is a first-of-its-kind collaboration for ACMobility.

Benemerito II; Sangguniang Panlalawigan Cheryll Tabangay; INEC Board of Directors Vice President Jaime Garvida

According to Carla Buencamino, head of mobility infrastructure, “ACMobility has always believed in the power of partnerships. Working with INEC on this endeavor allows us to provide convenient and sustainable mobility solutions to more Filipinos. As this new station opens doors for many communities in the far north, it brings the country one step closer to a more connected and electrified future.”

The INEC EV Charging Station is an important step for ACMobility as it adds a crucial location to a planned comprehensive infrastructure network called the ‘Philippine EV Spine”. The latter is envisioned as a country-wide ecosystem of stations linking Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. There are currently 96 locations with 226 charge points nationwide, with another 10 additional sites scheduled for activation this June. ACMobiity plants to have more than 700 charge points nationwide before the year ends.

The INEC EV Charging Station is open everyday from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. For more information and for those interested in establishing an ACMobility charging station or exploring partnership opportunities, visit https://acmobility.ph/..
