Chery has reinforced its commitment to innovation, safety and growth following a landmark presence at Auto China 2026 and the Chery International Business Summit 2026.
Held alongside Auto China 2026, the Chery International Business Summit gathered more than 4,000 global retailers, partners, investors and media guests, marking a significant moment in its growth trajectory.

The summit underlines Chery International’s position as China’s top automotive brand in global markets for 23 consecutive years, with a customer base of over 19 million, a network of eight R&D centers, 36 production bases, and more than 2,000 retailers.
Centered around Chery’s ’New Era, New Heights’ theme, the exhibition demonstrated how Chery is integrating mobility, safety, and technology into its products.
Chery’s 2,000 square meter Brand Pavilion created an immersive space which integrated new product and technology demonstrations. Visitors experienced eight interactive scenarios—including urban, family, outdoor and technology environments—illustrating how cars can seamlessly connect with everyday life.
Chery’s ambition is to build a global technology ecosystem, responding to evolving customer demands for smarter, safer, and more connected mobility solutions.
For Chery, the insights and innovations unveiled at the Summit reinforce confidence in the brand’s direction, bringing safer, smarter and more connected products to customers across the globe with a growing lineup of Tiggo SUV models.
Live crash testing underlines Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 9 safety credentials
Safety remains central to Chery’s global strategy, and this was demonstrated at the Summit with a live frontal impact crash test of two models from the UK model range: the Chery Tiggo 9 CSH and Tiggo 7 CSH.

Featuring models already awarded 5-star safety ratings by Euro NCAP, and conducted under real-world conditions, the test simulated a simultaneous 50km/h frontal collision and 40 km/h rear impact.

Both cars maintained structural integrity throughout the test, with no major deformation of the passenger compartment, correct deployment of airbags and restraint systems, and fully operational post-collision safety features, including automatic door unlocking.
